What is a "Support Agreement"?

When HRD is purchased, included in the purchase is a 1 year Support Agreement. This entitles you to a year of paid technical support direct from the HRD staff. It also includes the ability to download and install HRD releases that contain new features, during that first year.

Your activation key is the way we keep track of this Support Agreement activation.  When it expires, your software does not stop working, This is just an indication that you can no longer get support from the HRD Tech Support staff.  You can still download and install ALL new releases of HRD and receive the benefits of BUG FIXES for as long as you own HRD, however, if your Support Agreement has expired, any NEW FEATURES that have  been added to a release will be LOCKED.

After the first year, and every year thereafter, you can renew your Support Agreement for an additional year for 1/2 of the retail price of the Ham Radio Deluxe software. This renewal IS NOT MANDATORY, however, it is highly recommended if you wish to keep your software up to date with the latest features and be able to receive support from the HRD staff.
